My Services
My career experience and formal coaching training have given me tools to help solve a wide range of problems, and deliver a variety of services. Each engagement is tailored to the unique needs of each individual or organization. Basic categories of services include:
Career Coaching and Stewardship
Successful career transition starts by developing a clear vision of your individual strengths, work style, preferred work/people environments, and a clear idea of the surroundings and geographical location(s) in which you could flourish and grow. When your career is based on doing something you love and using the skills that you love, you increase exponentially your chance of being successful and happy.
Coaching is about helping you get this clarity and then creating the strategy that can make your vision a reality. In addition, the skills that you acquire during this process will reside with you throughout your career and serve as a guide to help you make decisions and choices about your evolving career. We refer to this ongoing process as career stewardship.
Executive and Team Coaching
Executive and executive team coaching can help increase the capacity of both individuals or exeutive teams to become more adept at handling transition and change. It is about developing competency and the capacity for self-generative growth in order to handle transition and change. And it's about creating and executing a vision of what success looks like.
Leadership Development
My goal is to help each individual leader develop a style that is unique to him or her, one based on that person's unique skills and strengths. Leadership development is rarely about "fixing" things that are wrong. It is about capitalizing on and developing strengths that already exist.
Many of us admire the leadership skills of others and may aspire to model our style accordingly. However, my view is that developing your own personal style based on your strengths will empower you to achieve the greatest possible success success that is authentic and sustainable.
Retirement Transition
"Protirement." "Encore." "Your next career." These are all terms that reflect the fact that retirement in the historic sense no longer applies. We are a generation who are asking what's next? What am I meant to do? What will give my life meaning? What am I meant to contribute during this next phase of my life?
Coaching can help create a realistic and successful blueprint for your personal "what's next?"
